Amal Clooney Rewears Red Jumpsuit from Meghan Markle’s 2019 Baby Shower

Amal Clooney loves a re-wear.

On Sunday, Nov. 9, the international human rights lawyer, 47, appeared at the Prix Suisse event in Bern, Switzerland on behalf of the Clooney Foundation in red ensemble that she wore 6 years prior.

Amal took the stage for a fireside chat in a satin red belted jumpsuit with metallic gold pumps. Her brunette locks were styled in her signature voluminous waves and she accessorized with a pair of drop earrings.

The philanthropist was previously spotted in the jumpsuit at Meghan Markle’s 2019 baby shower in New York City. At the time, PEOPLE reported that the event was being held in a suite at The Mark hotel.

Fellow celebrity attendees included Gayle King, Meghan’s wedding makeup artist Daniel Martin, her former Suits costar Abigail Spencer, Toronto-based stylist Jessica Mulroney and designer Misha Nonoo.

For the shower, Clooney styled the outfit with what appears to be the same gold shoes she wore at the Prix Suisse event.

Amal recently made a splash alongside husband George Clooney for a London screening of his film Jay Kelly. For the Friday, Oct. 10 event, the lawyer opted for a metallic rose pink sequin gown with sequin fringe, which she styled with a peach ostrich feather coat, both from Tamara Ralph’s autumn/winter 2025/2026 collection.

She added sparkling drop earrings and wore her long, dark hair in a voluminous, side-parted blowout.

George, for his part, opted for a classic suit and tie.

The week prior, Amal debuted a new fall hairstyle, chopping off 8 inches to ring in the season. She showed off the look in a series of Instagram photographs and videos shared by her hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos on Monday, Oct. 6.

“’The bubble blowout’ and new chop for Amal Clooney,” Giannetos captioned his Instagram carousel showing off her haircut and glossy, bouncy blowout.

“I cut off between six and eight inches of hair,” said Giannetos, per Vogue. “Amal has never had a haircut like this before.” He went on to describe her fall refresh, which showed off her lighter highlights beautifully as a “power cut.”
